Since the sun came out today for the first time in days, Chris and I turned off the NFL Playoffs and headed to the Delta. We came across this old truck in front of a gift shop/coffee house in Clarksburg, CA.

Second Saturday has become a Scaramento Midtown tradition. Galleries, restaurants, kisoks. My wife Chris and I walk about, get dinner and hang around. I always bring my camera. It was 41 degrees last night so we bundled up like Nanook of the North and headed out. We found parking mid block on 20th between J and K. This was so astonishing, I asked a policeman if it was legal to park there, as surely someone else would have already grabbed the spot.

Our friend Nick of Wilson Fotografie was having an exhibition of his photography at the Urban Hive. You should check out his work.

My local Photography Meet-up did a photo shoot at the California State Capital on Wednesday. We wandered around the building shooting at random. Here are a few of the many photos taken. (click to enlarge except xmas tree pic).

My motorcycle friends Scott and Jessica live near the Mather Airport, formerly Mather AFB. Saturday they hosted their second annual Air Show Bar-b-que. Chris and I enjoyed a nice warm sunny afternoon, good friends, good food and great hospitality. Thanks Scott and Jessica. The planes from the Mather Air Show fly right over their house making some pretty nice photos possible. Enjoy!
